I’ve always been the short-cap tomboy type and it annoyed me as a teenager that the only hat’s that suited me were broad rimmed sunhats that went with pretty dresses and lady-like behaviour. But I never cared much for what I looked like so I kept wearing silly hats and caps and be damned to what I should wear.
And ten years later when tried on a new tomboy cap I realised it suited me. Because what you believe can shape your reality. Imagination can change not just the what you feel but the shape of your face.
We put on ‘new hats’ when put on new persona’s and enter new worlds. I’m Catch in the hat, and I invite you into my worlds: imagination and a new reality.
